How great to read all these blasts from the past! I stayed on the West Island until 1976...did 2 years at John Abbott in Graphic/Fine Arts and continued singing (Hey hey for the Johnny Stugg Band!).;
Took a train to the West Coast in '76; got married a Pointe Claire guy in 1978, then divorced in 1988. Meanwhile got my Journalism Degree and worked in that field for almost 20 years. Found true love on the Sunshine Coast in 1989. He's a high school math teacher from Trail, BC. Honeymoon was a 6-month trip through South America. Owned a B&B on the Sunshine Coast, moved to Novas Scotia for 5 years (where my family ended up) then did a three month trip back across Canada in 1998. We live on a lake on southern Vancouver Island (40 minutes north of Victoria). I'm a full time artist (www.studio1771.com) and arts administrator. Sure will try to make it to the reunion!
